Refund Policy

At Desire Cosmetics, we are committed to providing premium-quality, sustainable, and affordable luxury beauty products. Each product is carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure it meets our high standards.

However, due to the nature of cosmetic products and for hygiene and safety reasons, returns and replacements are accepted only under specific conditions, as outlined below.

1.Eligibility for Returns or Replacements

You may request a return or replacement only if:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect (wrong product or quantity).

  • You notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

  • The product remains unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

Please note:

  • Used, opened, or tampered products are not eligible for return or replacement due to hygiene regulations.

  • Products damaged due to customer mishandling, improper storage, or negligence are not covered under this policy.

 

2. How to Request a Return or Replacement

To initiate a return or replacement, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at desirecosmetics.help@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Provide the following details:

    • Order number

    • Description of the issue

    • Clear images or an unboxing video showing the damaged or incorrect product and packaging

  3. Our support team will verify your claim and guide you through the return or replacement process.

 

3. Return Shipping Process

  • Once your request is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup through Shiprocket, our authorized logistics partner.

  • Please ensure the product is securely packed to avoid any further damage during transit.

  • In certain cases, you may be asked to self-ship the product using a reliable courier service. If applicable, reasonable courier charges will be reimbursed upon verification.

 

4. Refund Policy

Once your returned product is received and inspected, you will be notified via email about the status of your refund.

 

4.1 Refund Method

  • Refunds are processed only to the original payment method used during purchase via Razorpay.

  • Refunds for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be processed through Razorpay’s secure refund system to your UPI ID or bank account (no cash refunds).

  • Refunds may take 7–15 business days after approval to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

4.2 Refund Approval

A refund will be issued only if:

  • The product was received damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • The returned product passes quality inspection at our warehouse.

If your return is rejected (e.g., used product or incorrect claim), we will notify you via email, and the item will be shipped back to you at your expense.

5. Cancellations

5.1 Order Cancellation by Customer

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us at desirecosmetics.help@gmail.com.

  • Once an order is shipped, cancellation is not possible.

  • COD orders with repeated cancellations may result in denial of future COD facility.

5.2 Cancellation by Desire Cosmetics

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to:

  • Product unavailability

  • Payment issues or transaction failure

  • Fraudulent activity or invalid address
    In such cases, a full refund (if payment was made) will be processed via Razorpay.

 

6. Non-Refundable / Non-Returnable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Opened or used cosmetics

  • Items without original packaging or labels

  • Products purchased during clearance or promotional sales

  • Gift cards, samples, or free items received with purchase

 

7. Damages During Delivery

If your parcel appears tampered or damaged at the time of delivery:

  • Do not accept the package from the courier.

  • Inform us immediately at desirecosmetics.help@gmail.com.

  • Once verified, we will process a replacement or refund as applicable.

If you accept a visibly damaged parcel and fail to report the issue within 48 hours, we may not be able to process your claim.

 

8. Shipping and Delivery Policy

All deliveries are handled by Shiprocket. Delivery times vary depending on the destination, typically between 3–7 business days.
We are not liable for delays caused by courier networks, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability in relation to any product purchased from the Website is strictly limited to the purchase price of that product.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from product use or delayed refunds due to external payment gateway or courier processing times.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Refund & Return Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes or claims arising from this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert City, State], India.
